Sucralfate and Berberine Tablets

[Specification] Sucralfate 0.2g, berberine hydrochloride 50mg

[Indications] Sucralfate and berberine tablets are a fixed combination of sucralfate, which forms a protective barrier over ulcerated mucosa, and berberine hydrochloride, an antibacterial alkaloid; the combination is used in China for chronic gastritis, gastric and duodenal ulcer, and infectious enteritis with gastrointestinal discomfort.

[Usage and dosage] Administer orally before meals. The adult dose is based on the sucralfate component and is commonly three tablets three times daily according to the manufacturer's approved instruction leaflet. Antacids containing aluminium or magnesium should not be taken within 30 minutes of a dose, and the dose stated on the specific product's instruction sheet must not be exceeded.
