Papaverine Hydrochloride Sodium Chloride Injection
[Specification] 100ml: 30mg papaverine hydrochloride and 0.9g sodium chloride
[Indications] Papaverine hydrochloride in sodium chloride injection is a smooth-muscle relaxant indicated for ischaemia caused by spasm of the cerebral, cardiac, and peripheral vessels and for visceral spasm of the kidney, biliary tract, or gastrointestinal tract.
[Usage and dosage] Administer by intravenous infusion. The usual single dose is 30 to 120 mg, which may be repeated every 3 hours; when used during cardiac arrest, the interval between doses should be at least 10 minutes. The infusion must be given slowly, with monitoring of blood pressure and cardiac rhythm, because papaverine acts on the conducting system of the heart.
