[Indications] Tedizolid phosphate is an oxazolidinone antibacterial indicated for the treatment of acute bacterial skin and skin-structure infections caused by susceptible Gram-positive organisms, including Staphylococcus aureus (methicillin-resistant and methicillin-susceptible strains), Streptococcus species and Enterococcus faecalis.

[Usage and dosage] Give 200 mg once daily, orally or by intravenous infusion over 1 hour, for a total of 6 days. The intravenous powder is reconstituted with water for injection and diluted in sodium chloride 0.9% solution; it is incompatible with solutions containing multivalent cations such as Ringer's solution. Blood counts should be monitored during treatment.
