Isaconazole Sulfate for Injection

[Indications] Isavuconazonium sulfate for injection is a triazole antifungal indicated in adults for the treatment of invasive aspergillosis and invasive mucormycosis.

[Usage and dosage] Administer by intravenous infusion over at least 1 hour. The recommended loading dose is one vial, equivalent to 200 mg of isavuconazole, every 8 hours for the first 48 hours (six doses in total), followed by one vial (200 mg) once daily beginning 12 to 24 hours after the last loading dose; the duration of treatment depends on the clinical response. No dose adjustment is required for renal impairment or for mild to moderate hepatic impairment, but the intravenous form should be used with caution in severe renal impairment.
