Acetonide and Chlorpheniramine Maleate Granules (Children's Use)

[Specification] Acetaminophen 0.125g, artificial bezoar 5mg, chlorpheniramine maleate 0.5mg

[Indications] This paediatric granule is a fixed combination of paracetamol, artificial cow-bezoar and chlorphenamine maleate indicated for the relief of fever, headache, aching limbs, sneezing, runny nose, nasal congestion and sore throat caused by the common cold or influenza in children.

[Usage and dosage] Dissolve the granules in warm water and give orally. Each sachet contains paracetamol 125 mg, artificial cow-bezoar 5 mg and chlorphenamine maleate 0.5 mg. Children aged 1 to 3 years (10 to 15 kg) take half to one sachet three times daily; 4 to 6 years (16 to 21 kg) one to one and a half sachets; 7 to 9 years (22 to 27 kg) one and a half to two sachets; and 10 to 12 years (28 to 32 kg) two to two and a half sachets, in each case three times daily. The stated doses must not be exceeded because of the paracetamol content.
