[Indications] Ketotifen fumarate tablets are indicated for the prophylaxis and treatment of allergic conditions such as allergic asthma, allergic rhinitis, allergic conjunctivitis, and urticaria, and for prophylaxis in mastocytosis, at doses prescribed by a physician.

[Usage and dosage] Give orally with food to reduce sedation. The usual adult dose is 1 mg twice daily; children over 3 years of age receive 1 mg twice daily or 0.05 mg/kg per dose according to age. Ketotifen causes drowsiness, so the dose should be increased gradually, and patients must not drive or operate machinery until they know how the medicine affects them.
