Mivacurium Chloride Injection

[Specification] 5ml:10mg

[Indications] Mivacurium chloride injection is a short-acting non-depolarising neuromuscular blocking agent used as an adjunct to general anaesthesia to relax skeletal muscle, thereby facilitating tracheal intubation and mechanical ventilation.

[Usage and dosage] Administer intravenously. In adults, the usual intubating dose is 0.2 mg/kg given over at least 30 seconds, or 0.25 mg/kg in divided doses (0.15 mg/kg followed by 0.1 mg/kg after 30 seconds). A single dose of 0.07 to 0.25 mg/kg produces clinically effective blockade lasting about 13 to 23 minutes depending on the dose, and maintenance doses of 0.1 mg/kg prolong blockade by about 15 minutes. Because the drug is metabolised by plasma cholinesterase, recovery may be greatly prolonged in patients with enzyme deficiency, and neuromuscular function must be monitored.
