[Specification] 100ml: 0.2g ropivacaine hydrochloride and 0.86g sodium chloride

200ml: Ropivacaine hydrochloride 0.4g and sodium chloride 1.72g

[Indications] This ready-to-use infusion bag contains ropivacaine hydrochloride in sodium chloride 0.9% solution and is indicated for continuous epidural or regional infusion to control acute postoperative or labour pain, and for procedures in which a dilute local anaesthetic infusion is appropriate.

[Usage and dosage] Administer by infusion into the epidural space or the appropriate regional catheter at a rate set by the anaesthetist. A typical adult rate for postoperative epidural analgesia is ropivacaine 2 mg/mL (0.2%) at 4 to 14 mL per hour, corresponding to 8 to 28 mg per hour, and the maximum cumulative dose should not exceed 250 mg per block. The patient must be monitored for local anaesthetic systemic toxicity throughout the infusion.
