Iopamidol Injection
[Specification] 100ml: 30 g;100ml:37g;
[Indications] Iopamidol injection is a non-ionic, low-osmolar iodinated contrast medium indicated for intravascular and body-cavity radiological examinations, including contrast-enhanced computed tomography, intra-arterial and intravenous angiography, urography, and studies of the gastrointestinal or other body cavities in appropriate strengths.
[Usage and dosage] The volume and concentration depend on the examination and the patient's weight. For contrast-enhanced computed tomography in adults, the usual volume is 60 to 150 mL of the 300 or 370 mg iodine/mL solution, and for intra-arterial digital subtraction angiography, 10 to 100 mL is used depending on the vessel studied. Patients must be adequately hydrated before and after the examination, and renal function and any history of contrast reactions must be assessed beforehand.
