Norepinephrine Bitartrate Injection

[Specification] 4ml:8mg

[Indications] Norepinephrine (noradrenaline) bitartrate injection is indicated for the treatment of severe acute hypotension and shock, including septic, cardiogenic, and other vasodilatory shock, when a vasopressor is needed to restore blood pressure in a critical-care setting.

[Usage and dosage] Administer by continuous intravenous infusion into a large vein whenever possible, after dilution in glucose or sodium chloride infusion solution. A commonly used starting rate is 8 to 12 micrograms of norepinephrine base per minute, titrated to the blood-pressure target, with a usual maintenance range of 2 to 4 micrograms per minute in adults. Extravasation must be avoided, and the infusion site inspected frequently.
