[Specification] 1ml:1mg
[Indications] Epinephrine (adrenaline) 1 mg/mL injection is indicated for the emergency treatment of anaphylaxis, for the management of cardiac arrest and for other acute conditions in which rapid adrenaline administration is required, under the supervision of trained personnel.
[Usage and dosage] For anaphylaxis in adults, the accepted intramuscular dose is 0.5 mg (0.5 mL of the 1 mg/mL solution) into the anterolateral thigh, repeated every 5 minutes if required. In cardiac arrest, trained personnel give 1 mg (10 mL of the 1 mg/mL solution) intravenously or intraosseously every 3 to 5 minutes according to resuscitation guidelines. The concentration must be verified before use because strengths differ.
