Tinidazole Sodium Chloride Injection

[Specification] 100ml: Tinidazole 0.4g and Sodium Chloride 0.9g;

                          200ml: Tinidazole 0.8g and Sodium Chloride 1.8g

[Indications] Tinidazole and Sodium Chloride Injection is indicated for the treatment of infections caused by susceptible anaerobic bacteria, including septicemia, osteomyelitis, intra-abdominal infections, pelvic infections, and pulmonary and bronchial infections, as specified in the applicable product labeling.

[Usage and dosage] This product is administered by slow intravenous infusion.

For anaerobic infections, the referenced product labeling recommends 800 mg once daily, generally for 5–6 days, or as clinically indicated.

For perioperative prophylaxis against anaerobic infections, the regimen described in certain product labeling is a total dose of 1.6 g, administered as a single infusion or in two divided infusions, with the first infusion 2–4 hours before surgery and the second during surgery or within 12–24 hours after surgery.
