[Indications] Isoniazid Injection is indicated for the treatment of tuberculosis in conjunction with other effective antituberculous agents. It is also used for preventive therapy of tuberculous infection in appropriate patients. Treatment should be guided by current tuberculosis treatment recommendations and drug susceptibility results.

[Usage and dosage] Isoniazid Injection is administered intramuscularly or intravenously according to the applicable prescribing information. For treatment of tuberculosis, the usual adult parenteral dosage is 5 mg/kg up to a maximum of 300 mg once daily, or 15 mg/kg up to a maximum of 900 mg per day when administered two or three times weekly, depending on the treatment regimen. Isoniazid should be used with other effective antituberculous drugs for active tuberculosis.
