Levofloxacin Sodium Chloride Injection

[Specification] 100ml: 0.5g of levofloxacin (calculated as C₁₈H₂₀FN₃O₄) and 0.9g of sodium chloride.

[Indications] Levofloxacin Injection is indicated for the treatment of adults with infections caused by susceptible microorganisms, including nosocomial and community-acquired pneumonia, complicated and uncomplicated skin and skin structure infections, chronic bacterial prostatitis, complicated and uncomplicated urinary tract infections, acute pyelonephritis, acute bacterial exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, and acute bacterial sinusitis. It is also indicated for post-exposure inhalational anthrax and plague.

[Usage and dosage] This product is administered by intravenous infusion. The recommended dosage and duration of treatment depend on the type and severity of infection, the susceptibility of the causative microorganism, and the patient's renal function. Adult regimens commonly use 250 mg, 500 mg, or 750 mg every 24 hours, depending on the indication. Dosage adjustment is required in patients with renal impairment.
