Ozagrel Sodium Glucose Injection Dual Valve
[Specification] 100ml
[Indications] Ozagrel Sodium Glucose Injection is used for the improvement of motor impairment associated with acute cerebral thrombosis. Depending on the applicable national authorization, ozagrel sodium may also be indicated for the improvement of cerebral vasospasm and associated cerebral ischemic symptoms following surgery for subarachnoid hemorrhage. The approved indications for the specific dual-valve product must be confirmed against its product registration and prescribing information.
[Usage and dosage] Administer by intravenous infusion according to the approved prescribing information for the specific dual-valve formulation. Japanese prescribing information for ozagrel sodium injection describes a usual adult dose of 80 mg per infusion over two hours twice daily for approximately two weeks for motor impairment associated with acute cerebral thrombosis. For cerebral vasospasm and associated ischemic symptoms following surgery for subarachnoid hemorrhage, the usual adult dose is 80 mg per day by continuous intravenous infusion over 24 hours. The dual-valve packaging does not itself change the active ingredient's dosage regimen. Confirm the product strength, diluent composition, infusion instructions, and approved indication before publication.
