Voriconazole for Injection

[Specification] 0.5g

[Indications] Voriconazole for injection is a triazole antifungal indicated for the treatment of invasive aspergillosis, candidaemia in non-neutropenic patients, serious invasive Candida infections resistant to fluconazole, serious infections caused by Scedosporium and Fusarium species, and other serious fungal infections in patients who are intolerant of or refractory to other therapy.

[Usage and dosage] Administer by intravenous infusion over 1 to 2 hours. In adults, a loading dose of 6 mg/kg every 12 hours is given for the first 24 hours, followed by a maintenance dose of 4 mg/kg every 12 hours, reduced to 3 mg/kg every 12 hours in moderate or severe hepatic impairment. The infusion line must be flushed between doses because the vehicle accumulates in renal impairment, and visual disturbances, hepatic function, electrolytes, and the QT interval should be monitored.
