[Indications] Gentamicin Sulfate Injection is indicated for the treatment of serious infections caused by susceptible bacteria, including Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Proteus species, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella-Enterobacter-Serratia species, Citrobacter species, and Staphylococcus species. Indications may include serious infections of the urinary tract, respiratory tract, central nervous system, bloodstream, gastrointestinal tract, skin, bone, and soft tissues, as specified in the approved prescribing information.

[Usage and dosage] Gentamicin Sulfate Injection is administered intramuscularly or by intravenous infusion. Dosage must be individualized according to body weight, renal function, infection severity, and appropriate serum concentration monitoring. For adults with serious infections and normal renal function, a labeled conventional regimen is 3 mg/kg/day divided into three equal doses administered every eight hours. The dosage and dosing interval must be adjusted according to the patient's clinical condition and renal function.
