Moxifloxacin Hydrochloride Sodium Chloride Injection

[Specification] 250ml: Moxifloxacin hydrochloride (calculated as C₂₁H₂₄FN₃O₄) 0.4g and sodium chloride 2.0g

[Indications] Moxifloxacin Hydrochloride in Sodium Chloride Injection is indicated for the treatment of adults with susceptible bacterial infections, including community-acquired pneumonia, uncomplicated and complicated skin and skin structure infections, complicated intra-abdominal infections, acute bacterial sinusitis, and acute bacterial exacerbation of chronic bronchitis. It is also indicated for plague, as specified in the applicable prescribing information. Because of the risk of serious fluoroquinolone-associated adverse reactions, use for certain infections should be reserved for patients with limited alternative treatment options.

[Usage and dosage] The recommended adult dosage is 400 mg administered by intravenous infusion once every 24 hours. The infusion should be administered over approximately 60 minutes. The duration of treatment depends on the type and severity of infection. Follow the prescribing information for the specific product and indication.
