Paricalcitol Injection

[Indications] It is suitable for the prevention and treatment of secondary hyperparathyroidism associated with chronic kidney disease in patients undergoing hemodialysis.

[Usage and dosage] This product is administered by intravenous injection during hemodialysis. The recommended initial dose for adult patients is 0.04–0.1 μg/kg (approximately 2.8–7 μg) administered three times weekly, no more frequently than every other day. The dose should be adjusted according to serum intact parathyroid hormone (iPTH), calcium, and phosphorus levels. Monitor calcium and phosphorus levels regularly during treatment to reduce the risk of hypercalcemia and hyperphosphatemia.
