Nicardipine Hydrochloride Injection

[Indications]
It is suitable for the treatment of acute hypertension and for the control of blood pressure during and after surgery. It may also be used for the management of hypertension associated with cerebrovascular events.

[Usage and dosage]
This product is administered by continuous intravenous infusion. The usual initial infusion rate is 5 mg/hour. The dose may be increased by 2.5 mg/hour every 5–15 minutes according to blood pressure response. The usual effective dose range is 5–15 mg/hour. Blood pressure and heart rate should be continuously monitored during administration.
