Gentamicin Sulfate Injection

[Indications] It is indicated for the treatment of serious infections caused by susceptible bacteria, including certain Gram-negative bacterial infections.

[Usage and dosage] For adults with normal renal function, a traditional dosing regimen is 3 mg/kg/day divided into three equal doses, administered intravenously or intramuscularly every 8 hours. The dose must be adjusted according to renal function and, when appropriate, serum gentamicin concentrations.
