[Indications] Retatrutide is an investigational triple hormone receptor agonist targeting GLP-1, GIP, and glucagon receptors. It is being investigated for the treatment of obesity and overweight, as well as potential applications in type 2 diabetes and other obesity-related metabolic conditions.

[Usage and dosage] In a Phase 2 clinical trial for adults with obesity or overweight, retatrutide was administered by subcutaneous injection once weekly. In the 12 mg target-dose group, treatment was initiated at 2 mg once weekly, followed by dose escalation at 4-week intervals over a 12-week escalation period, reaching a target maintenance dose of 12 mg once weekly.
