Dual-valve sodium chloride injection

[Specification] 100ml;250ml

[Indications] Sodium chloride 0.9% injection (normal saline) is an isotonic crystalloid indicated for the replacement of water and electrolytes in dehydration and hypovolaemia, as a vehicle for the intravenous administration of compatible medicines and electrolytes, and for other uses specified in the product information.

[Usage and dosage] Administer by intravenous infusion; the volume and rate are determined by the patient's fluid and electrolyte requirements. In adults, a common maintenance requirement is about 25 to 30 mL/kg per day, and boluses of 500 to 1000 mL may be given over a few hours for volume replacement. Large volumes must be infused cautiously in patients with cardiac or renal impairment, because the solution contains about 154 mmol/L of sodium and chloride.
