Beriracetam Injection

[Indications] Brivaracetam injection is indicated for the treatment of partial-onset (focal) seizures in adults and adolescents from 16 years of age, as monotherapy or as adjunctive therapy, when intravenous administration is clinically needed.

[Usage and dosage] Administer by intravenous injection or infusion. For adults, the usual starting dose is 50 mg twice daily (100 mg per day), with a maintenance range of 25 to 100 mg twice daily (50 to 200 mg per day), titrated according to clinical response and tolerability. In patients with hepatic impairment, the starting dose should be reduced and the total daily dose limited to 150 mg; conversion between oral and intravenous administration is in a 1-to-1 ratio.
