Vitamin C Injection

[Indications] Vitamin C injection is indicated for the short-term treatment of scurvy in adult and pediatric patients aged 5 months and older when oral administration is not possible, insufficient, or contraindicated. It is not indicated for vitamin C deficiency without signs and symptoms of scurvy under the referenced U.S. labeling.

[Usage and dosage] Administer by slow intravenous infusion after dilution according to the approved product labeling. Under the referenced U.S. label, recommended once-daily doses are 50 mg for infants aged 5 months to less than 12 months, 100 mg for children aged 1 year to less than 11 years, and 200 mg for adults and patients aged 11 years and older. The recommended treatment duration is up to 7 days.
