[Indications] It is indicated for the treatment of active duodenal ulcers, active gastric ulcers, symptomatic nonerosive GERD, erosive esophagitis, and pathological hypersecretory conditions. It may also be used to reduce the risk of duodenal ulcer recurrence.

[Usage and dosage] Administer by slow intravenous injection or intravenous infusion according to the product labeling. For adults, a commonly labeled dose is 20 mg every 12 hours for several acid-related conditions. Dosage adjustment may be required in patients with renal impairment. Switch to oral therapy when clinically appropriate.
