Gabexate Mesylate for Injection

[Indications] It is suitable for the treatment of acute pancreatitis, disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC), and other conditions associated with excessive protease activity requiring protease inhibition.

[Usage and dosage] This product is administered by intravenous infusion after dilution. The usual adult dose is 100 mg of gabexate mesylate dissolved in an appropriate infusion solution and administered by continuous intravenous infusion over approximately 1 hour, 1–3 times daily according to the severity of the condition. The dosage and duration of treatment should be adjusted according to the patient's clinical response. Monitor for allergic reactions during administration.
