Peramivir Sodium Chloride Injection

[Indications]
It is indicated for the treatment of acute uncomplicated influenza A and influenza B virus infections in adults and pediatric patients. Treatment should be initiated within 2 days of the onset of influenza symptoms. 

[Usage and dosage]
For adults and adolescents 13 years of age and older, the recommended dose is 600 mg as a single intravenous infusion, administered over 15–30 minutes, within 2 days after the onset of influenza symptoms. 

For pediatric patients 2–12 years of age, the recommended dose is 12 mg/kg as a single intravenous infusion (maximum dose: 600 mg), administered over 15–30 minutes.
