Bumetanide Injection

[Indications] It is indicated for the treatment of edema associated with congestive heart failure and hepatic or renal disease.

[Usage and dosage] The usual initial adult dose is 0.5–1 mg intravenously or intramuscularly. Administer the intravenous dose over 1–2 minutes. If the response is inadequate, a second or third dose may be given at intervals of 2–3 hours. The total daily dose should not exceed 10 mg.
